"You've reached Okumura Yukio. I'm sorry to have missed your call. Please leave your name and reason for calling, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible."
"It's nice to meet you. Amal-san mentioned the idea to me as well, and we are in sore need of a place where people can go without trekking all the way to Southtown. It would be a lot to pull together, but we can meet to discuss if you'd like."
"Ah... That would be preferred," the red haired woman agrees. "We need to find a building we can set up. The weather might get colder what with it being fall. Setting a place up where we can keep people out of the cold and treat em? That'd be a blessing in this place."
"Keeping them warm will be the hardest part, but if we can find a place that isn't too large we should be able to make due. There are a lot of empty houses up here that could be usable with a little work."
"Maybe something with a wood stove? That way we can keep it warm. Plus having heat will help if we need to boil water for disinfecting tools..." She trails off rubbing her jaw inelegantly as she thinks.
"Yeah. We can do this. One of us might need to sleep over night so someplace with room for a cot or two would be good plus sometimes we might have over-nighters."
He nods. "A wood stove would do the job just fine, and we could get whatever linens we need from the hotel. The real trouble will be keeping medical supplies stocked, but if we're close enough to the hospital we should be able to get first pick as inventory crops up.
Getting the location set up comes first, though. Somewhere middle of the road might be best if we can manage it, maybe between the library and the research facility."
hello! i was directed to you, as you might still need help with the clinic you're trying to set up. back home, i was something of a healer, so if you think you could use me, please do!
[ thaaaat's a tough one. how does he explain this.. ]
i guess you could say it's primarily holistic. [ sort of. mostly it's two-thousand years old. that's what they call 'holistic' these days, right..? ] i can heal injuries and illnesses, but it sometimes takes a lot out of me, so i prefer to save that sort of thing for very serious cases only.
[Hmm, magical healing, then? Well that's a little strange, but luckily it's not the first time he's heard of such things. He's yet to see it in person yet, but if Kohaku is capable of it, it doesn't seem unreasonable that others might be able to as well.]
Understandable. Such an ability would be useful for emergencies, and I am willing to teach volunteers more traditional methods if you would be interested.
[The wood stove burning away when Rin comes in, so the main area is warm enough, but the clinic itself looks to be empty aside from Yukio. The young exorcist in question is seated in front of the stove fiddling with his phone when Rin comes in.
He looks up at Rin, eying his brother and the package in his hands with some confusion.]
It's okay! I almost forgot, too. I just hope this fits you.
[Whenever he opens it, he'll find that there's a relatively nice looking, heavy winter jacket. It should be the right size for Yukio, considering Rin tried it on and it was fairly big on him.]
